Lights and shadows of nature-based solutions in the Anthropocene: Perspectives from indigenous narratives in Latin America

Abstract

Der Artikel geht auf die Komplexität naturbasierter Lösungen (NbS) im Kontext des Anthropozäns ein und untersucht die zugrunde liegenden Epistemologien und Ontologien, die diese Lösungen formen. Sie unterstreicht die Marginalisierung indigener und lokaler Gemeinschaften in Lateinamerika, deren Wissen und Perspektiven oft übersehen werden. Die Autoren plädieren für einen integrativeren Ansatz, der unterschiedliche Narrative einbezieht, um den Klimawandel wirksam zu bekämpfen. Die Analyse basiert auf kritischen Diskursanalysen und Interviews mit indigenen Gemeinschaften und bietet ein differenziertes Verständnis der Herausforderungen und Potenziale von NbS.
