Abstract
A Conditional Preference Network (CP-net) graphically represents user’s preferences, while a CP-net with Comfort (CPC-net) represents both preferences and comfort. Preference indicates user’s habitual behavior and comfort indicates user’s genuine decisions. In this paper, firstly, we show how to obtain the corresponding CPC-net given a CP-net and the comfort on each value of the problem variables. Secondly, we describe a method to find the corresponding CP-net for a given CPC-net.
