Zusammenfassung

Arbeitssicherheit beschäftigt sich mit Gefahren und Gefährdungen in der Arbeitswelt sowie Strategien, um diese abzuwenden bzw. zu bewältigen. Zur Aufklärung und Verhütung von Unfällen ist ein systematisches Vorgehen erforderlich, das Schritte der Unfallanalyse, Ableitung von Schutzzielen, Planung und Durchführung von Maßnahmen sowie eine Erfolgskontrolle beinhaltet. Gegenstand der psychologischen Analyse sind dabei sowohl individuelle Faktoren (z. B. Neigung zu impulsivem Verhalten) als auch organisationale Faktoren sicherheitskritischen Verhaltens (z. B. hoher Leistungsdruck). Das Handeln in gefährlichen Situationen wird durch die Wahrnehmung und Erkennung von Gefahren, die Beurteilung von Risiken bzw. das daraus folgende Risikoverhalten sowie fehlerhaftes Handeln geprägt. Arbeitssicherheit ist aber auch von der Systemsicherheit abhängig, die als Leistung der Organisation zu verstehen ist und z. B. durch eine effektive Sicherheitskultur positiv beeinflusst werden kann.
