Abstract
During recent years a considerable progress has been made in methods of minimum-weight design of structures. This is due to the progress in mathematical optimization methods as well as to development of more efficient computer facilities. The most impressive are results obtained in elastic design of multiple bar trusses with constraints of various nature [1–6].
