Zusammenfassung

Die Leistungsfähigkeit von Arbeitsgruppen hängt stark von der Diversität der Gruppenmitglieder ab. Dabei zeigt sich in der Forschung, dass das Konzept der Diversität uneindeutig ist und folglich in großer Bedeutungsvielfalt verwendet wird. Angelehnt an die Tradition der Input-Process-Output-Modelle wird die Diversität als ein holistisches Merkmal von Gruppen bestimmt und argumentiert, dass eine hohe Diversität über einen Mechanismus der abwägenden Informationszusammenführung zu besseren Leistungsresultaten führt. Aus einem integrativen Modell zum Zusammenhang von Diversität und Innovation wird ein Diversitätsplaner entworfen, der es Führungskräften ermöglichen soll, eine optimal diverse Gruppe bzw. ein erfolgreiches Innovationsteam zusammenzustellen.
