Abstract
Embryonal or primitive neuroectodermal tumors (PNETs) are neoplasms composed of primitive poorly differentiated round cells, regardless of the location of the tumor or the type of focal cellular differentiation. The term PNET has become confusing and controversial in the diagnosis and classification of embryonal tumors [1].
