Zusammenfassung
In der letzten Zeit wurde das Mentalisierungskonzept, das sich in der klinischen Psychologie und Psychotherapie etabliert hat, auf verschiedene arbeitsweltliche Felder übertragen. Der vorliegende Beitrag erläutert die Grundzüge der Mentalisierung und prüft auf konzeptueller Ebene, inwiefern sich Mentalisierung als Theorie und Technik für eine Anwendung im Coaching eignet. Er soll zudem für die temporäre Nicht-Verfügbarkeit von Mentalisierung sensibilisieren und verdeutlichen, wie Mentalisierung in der Beratungssituation aufrecht erhalten oder wieder hergestellt werden kann, gerade in affektiv schwierigen Situationen.
