Overview
The investigation of thermally induced waves and vibrations is known to be a very important engineering problem [1], especially for thin-walled beams of open section which are extensively used as structural components in different structures in civil, mechanical, and aeronautical engineering applications, since dynamic interaction between thermal fields and thin-walled solid bodies may produce unexpected phenomena [2–5].
