It is a well known fact that TQM performance varies widely throughout the world. This is partly due to the fact that the time period in which TQM has been used is different and partly that definitions of TQM vary from country to country. In Europe we usually apply the following definition:
“TQM is the
culture
of an organization committed to
customer satisfaction
through
continuous improvement.”
