Upsizing the organization by attractive quality creation

Total Quality Management

Abstract

It is not realistic for any company to assume that it will continue to succeed by just prolonging today’s excellent practices. To continue to survive and prosper, a company must possess two strategies — downsizing the existing businesses and upsizing into new businesses. Our definition of downsizing is to streamline the organization to reduce cost; upsizing, on the other hand, is to expand into new business activities to secure employment and enhance revenue.
