Calculation of provisional heredity functions by means of an inverse laplace transform

  • Published:
Mechanics of Composite Materials Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

A method has been developed for the calculation of slowly converging heredity kernels in the form of infinite series and their integrals by applying an inverse Laplace transform to the corresponding functions of their representation.

  2. 2.

The method has been applied to the calculation of four-parameter heredity functions. The precision of the method has been checked by the calculation of special cases of four-parameter heredity functions and comparison both with the values of tabulated functions and with the values of functions calculated directly.
