A gas volumetric apparatus for the determination of milligram quantities of alkaline earth metals

Summary

An apparatus for the determination of alkaline earth metals dissolved in or mixed with a salt by measurement of the equivalent volume of hydrogen evolved on dissolution in water is described. An accuracy of better than 1% is claimed.

Ein Apparat für die Bestimmung von Erdalkalimetallen, die in einem Salz gelöst oder damit gemischt sind, wird beschrieben. Die bei der Auflösung in Wasser entstehende Menge Wasserstoff wird gemessen. Die erzielte Genauigkeit ist besser als 1%.

Description d'un appareil permettant le dosage des métaux alcalinoterreux dissous dans un sel ou en mélange avec lui par mesure du volume équivalent d'hydrogène dégagé lors de la dissolution dans l'eau. On indique une précision supérieure à 1%.
