Conclusions
With the use of the simplex grid method of experiment planning the relationships of thermal conductivity to the composition of γ-Al2O3-α-Al2O3-hollow spherical corundum granules (filler) composites at temperatures from 25 to 100°C were calculated on an M-4030 computer.
It was shown that in all cases the addition of a filler of spherical granules leads to a reduction in thermal conductivity in the 25–100°C range. To a large degree the thermal conductivity with more than 40 wt. % filler depends upon the quality of the spherical granules. Under otherwise similar conditions composites containing hollow corundum spherical granules of regular form with minimum wall thickness possess the minimum thermal conductivity.
