Abstract
The densification of a Cu-Sn powder composite during electric-discharge sintering has been mathematically modeled. The system of equations obtained is based on the laws of energy, mass, and momentum conservation, together with the equations of electrodynamics for compact and powder conducting media. Calculations based on the proposed model are in good agreement with experimental data.
