Abstract
Decreasing a vehicle’s unwanted noise emissions is not only regulated by the legislator but is also an important concern of the manufacturer of premium products. The necessary analyses and the balance between comfort and sportiness only succeed through the application of efficient measurement and testing technology. With the investment in an exterior noise testing facility optimized in acoustics and driving dynamics for pass-by testing, the BMW Group contributes a forward-looking share in complying with challenging exterior noise goals.
