Überlegungen zur fachmathematischen Ausbildung der angehenden Grundschullehrerinnen und -lehrer

Zusammenfassung

Viele angehende Grundschullehrermnen und -lehrer bringen aus ihrer eigenen Schulzeit ein reduziertes Bild von der Mathematik mit und haben, wenn überhaupt, oberflächliche Vorstellungen von deren Vermittlung. Aus Sicht der Autoren ist der Mathematikunterricht, auch und gerade in der Grundschule, eine wichtige und anspruchsvolle Aufgabe, und sie halten eine niveauvolle, an den Belangen der (Grund-) Schule ausgerichtete Ausbildung im Fach Mathematik als eine Grundlage und Ergänzung für Didaktik und Praxis im Grundschullehramts-Studium für unverzichtbar. Es werden einige grundlegenden Ideen für eine solche Ausbildung beschrieben

Abstract

Many prospective primary school teachers have a reduced image of mathematics and have, if any, rallier superficial ideas about the teaching of mathematics. The authors think mathematics teaching, in particular in primary school, to be an important and ambitious task. Therefore the teacher students should study mathematics on a correspondingly ambitious level, of course, on the background of the needs of primary school, as a subject matter foundation and completion of didactics and school practice. In the article is given an outline of the contents and ideas which should be included in such a mathematics curriculum.
