Injectivity conditions over a formal triangular matrix ring

Abstract.

Given two right modules V and W over a triangular matrix ring T sufficient conditions are obtained for V to be W-injective or simple W-injective. For the simple injectivity case two newly defined submodules namely simple reject and simple trace are involved. Injective cogenerators in Mod-T are investigated. Various examples are given to put the conditions in right perspective.
