Betriebliches Gesundheitsmanagement Was ist das, und wie lässt es sich erfolgreich praktizieren?

Public-Health-Forschung, die ihre Erkenntnisse nicht in die Praxis umzusetzen versteht, hat ihre wichtigste Mission verfehlt. Gesundheitsförderung in der Arbeitswelt gehört diesbezüglich zu den vielversprechendsten Public-Health-Tätigkeitsfeldern. Der Aufsatz behandelt das Präventionsdefizit der deutschen Gesundheitspolitik, aktuelle Trends in der Arbeitswelt und sich daraus ergebende neue Herausforderungen für die betrieblichen Gesundheitsexperten und Personalmanager. Am Beispiel zweier “global players” werden zwei Wege erfolgreichen betrieblichen Gesundheitsmanagements aufgezeigt.

Abstract

Public health research which is unable to transfer the results of social epidemiological studies into practice to improve the health and well-being of the public has failed in its most important mission. Occupational health is one of the most promising fields to apply of public health. The article deals with current deficits in the field of health promotion and illness prevention in Germany and with current trends in ur economy and the resulting challenges for health professionals. Two global players are used as examples of how to practice successful health promotion at work.
