Unfortunately two errors appeared in the original article:

In the Introduction section at the beginning of the third paragraph, it should read “The aim of this thematic issue of Geo-Marine Letters, no. 26(3), which is guest-edited by Bartholomä and Winter (2006), is to provide an overview of the research aims of the programme and to introduce the articles and their authors”. (not “guest-edited by Winter and Bartholomä”).

The correspondent reference should read “Bartholomä A, Winter C (2006) (eds) Coastal dynamics and human impact: south-eastern North Sea. Geo-Mar Lett 26(3)” [not “Winter C, Bartholomä A (2006)”]
