Abstract

The phase behavior of ternary poly-1,4-isoprene-block-poly-1,2-butadiene-block-polystyrene (ABC) triblock copolymers based on a compatible diblock copolymer attached to an incompatible C-block of different lengths is investigated by differential scanning calorimetry, transmission electron microscopy and dynamic mechanical analysis. It is shown that the system behaves like a binary diblock copolymer of a mixed AB-block and a microphase separated C-block.
