Structural studies of carbon-fiber composites with an epoxy binder were presented. The two most common prepreg preparation technologies, solution and melt, and two technologies for forming items from carbon-fiber composites, rolling and vacuum infusion, were used. Examples of the determination of phase compositions by structural analysis using electron microscopy were given.
