Paramagnetic absorption of carbon fibres and their epoxide composites was studied. It was shown that oxidation of the carbon fibres increased the concentration of surface paramagnetic centers. This helped to increase the composite strength during interlaminar slippage. It was shown that the composite based on domestic fibre Elur-0.1P had the highest concentration of paramagnetic centers and the greatest strength during interlaminar slippage.
