Abstract
A modification of the standard algorithm for the calculation of the parameters of chemical equilibrium is suggested, which enables one to overcome computational difficulties associated with the degeneracy of equations of the elemental composition of a mixture. The use of this method for the calculation of equilibrium of a multicomponent multiphase mixture is described.
