Fixed point on the basis of Ga-In eutectic alloy for rapid monitoring of thermometers and temperature measurement systems

Abstract

A fixed point based on Ga-In eutectic alloy with a phase transition temperature of 288.798 K (15.648°C) is proposed and studied. This temperature makes it possible to accomplish a phase transition without the use of external thermostat devices.
