Use of yield stresses for off-set values of smaller than 0.2% has been investigated (Mair and Pugh, 1964; William and Svensson, 1970, 1971; Michno and Findley, 1976; Shiratori et al., 1973; Ascione et al., 1982; Stout et al., 1985; Ishikawa, 1997; Gil et al., 1999; Khan and Wang, 1993; and Farrokh and Khan, 2010). In these studies, off-set strain varies between 100 and 1000 με.
