AOPs also include the Fenton method (Lin and Chang, 2000; Zhang et al., 2006), electrolysis (Mahmoud et al., 2014; Tsai et al., 1997; Ying et al., 2012), the wet oxidation process (Anglada et al., 2011; Garg and Mishra, 2010; Xu et al., 2012) and the photocatalytic oxidation method (Cho et al., 2002, 2004; Poblete et al., 2011). Among these AOPs, the Fenton method and ozonation are the most common ways of treating landfill leachate.
