Gamal Rashed is a graduate research assistant in Mining Engineering Department, West Virginia University (WVU), USA. He received his Bachelor and Master of Geological and Geophysical Engineering from Suez Canal University, Egypt and then joined WVU in 2010 as a Ph.D student. He worked as assistant lecturer in Egypt and taught several classes for the undergraduate students. His research interests cover Rock Mechanics and Ground Control, and he has published 5 papers.
