Abstract

In this Letter we study an effect of synchronization of clusters with the same average frequency in interacting extended systems. We show that the type of sychronization is a consequence of frequency locking in each point of the system.

Spatially distributed ensembles, multilayers networks, continuous media as well as individual oscillators can also demonstrate the synchronization effects. In this case, they are associated with not only the coherent temporal behavior, but also with the similarity or even full equality of spatiotemporal patterns [17–23] and cluster structures [6,24–27]. Recently, synchronization of different chimera states in multilayer networks has been studied in a number of works [28–35].

  • A no-equilibrium hyperchaotic system with a cubic nonlinear term

    2016, Optik
    Citation Excerpt :

When studying a new chaotic system, its possibility of synchronization is often considered [48,49,7]. Various synchronization schemes for chaotic systems have been represented in the literature [50–56]. In this section, we use an adaptive control method to derive an adaptive feedback control law for globally synchronizing identical novel no-equilibrium hyperchaotic systems with unknown parameters.
