Abstract
THE following is a short account of work completed a matter of two years ago; but publication at the time was forbidden. It was carried out in connexion with the production of rayon from seaweed described by Speakman and Chamberlain1, and for the preparation of the fibres I am indebted to Dr. Chamberlain.
