High specific capacitance of CuS nanotubes in redox active polysulfide electrolyte

Abstract

In this communication, high specific capacitance of CuS nanotubes (2393 F g−1 at 10 mV s−1 and 2175 F g−1 at 15 A g−1) was obtained in redox active polysulfide electrolyte through combination of the pseudocapacitance of CuS nanotubes in electrolyte and the faradic capacitance of electrolyte at the electrode electrolyte interface.
