A DNAzyme cascade for the amplified detection of Pb2+ ions or l-histidine

Abstract

DNAzyme cascades activated by Pb2+- or L-histidine-dependent DNAzymes yield the horseradish peroxidase-mimicking catalytic nucleic acids that enable the colorimetric or chemiluminescence detection of Pb2+ or L-histidine.
