Cooperativity in multiply H-bonded complexes

Abstract

The free energy of complexation of supramolecular complexes containing phenolcarbamateH-bonds is an additive function of the number of H-bonds, with a constant increment of 6 kJ mol−1 per interaction in carbon tetrachloride.
