Enhanced antibacterial performance of cationic polymer modified silicananoparticles

Abstract

Vapor deposition polymerization was applied for the fabrication of cationic polymer modified silicananoparticles and the synthesized nanoparticles exhibited enhanced antimicrobial properties compared to bulk polycations and reduced bioadhesion on the surface of glass.
