Discovery of an excellent IR absorbent with a broad working waveband: CsxWO3nanorods

Abstract

Cs0.32WO3 nanorods, synthesized by a designed water controlled-release process, exhibited strong absorption of light in a wide waveband of 800–15 000 nm, quick conversion of photo-energy to local heat and excellent heat rays cutoff character.
