Lipase-catalysed Baeyer–Villiger reactions

Abstract

The Baeyer–Villiger oxidation of some 2- and 3-substituted cyclopentanones and cyclohexanones using myristic acid and hydrogen peroxide is catalysed by Candida anatarctica lipase.
