A novel design of a coplanar waveguide (CPW) fed slot antenna for achieving triple-frequency band operation is presented. The proposed antenna consists of two rectangular slot loop antennas and a single inset CPW feeder. Three resonant frequencies of the proposed antenna are mainly controlled by the dimensions of the two slot loops and coupling between antennas. The antenna prototypes are fabricated and their characteristics experimentally verified.
