Abstract

A reliable system is described which is well suited for high-resolution, laser spectroscopy and for applications in laser photochemistry. High infrared power output (85 mW), long lifetimes of the laser crystals in operation (4 weeks), simple adjustment and remarkable amplitude and frequency stability have been obtained.
