Abstract
The cross sections of several neutron-induced reactions on 55Mn, 54,56Fe, 59Co, 58,60Ni and 63,65Cu are calculated for energies below 20 MeV using the Weisskopf-Ewing theory and compared with experimental data. The total (n,p) and (n, alpha ) cross sections are generally well fitted, especially when they are dominant channels. At the higher energies the (n,p) cross sections have important contributions from pre-equilibrium processes, and these are fitted using the theory of Feshbach, Kerman and Koonin, (1980).
