Abstract

The Auger rates, x-ray rates, fluorescence yields, and Kα linewidths are presented for all elements Z=1255 and Z=60, 65, 70, 75, 80, and 85 when a vacancy is in the 2p shell. Numerical calculations have been performed using the Hartree-Fock-Slater approach with Herman, Van Dyke, and Ortenburger exchange. Comparisons of different exchange approximations on the Auger and x-ray total transition rates and the fluorescence yields are reported.
