Abstract

An analytical method of determining the higher-dimensional lattice associated with an aperiodic structure is presented. The Moore-Penrose generalized matrix-inversion procedure has been utilized to overcome the problem arising due to the number of physical basis vectors being more than that of the linear equations relating these vectors to higher-dimensional lattice basis vectors.
