Small-angle scattering from neutron-irradiated amorphous Pd₈₀Si₂₀

Small-angle scattering intensities were observed for amorphous Pd₈₀Si₂₀, which was irradiated by fast neutrons to a fluence of 5 × 10²⁰ neutrons cm⁻². A broad hump was observed at 2 sin θ/λ = 0.05 Å⁻¹. The structural inhomogeneities produced by the neutron irradiation are discussed with the aid of the results of wide-angle scattering measurements [Doi, Kayano & Masumoto (1977). Appl. Phys.
