Phase Equilibria and the Extraction of Metals in Oxyethylated Alkylamine–Anionic Surfactant–Water Systems

Abstract

A study is performed of solubility in oxyethylated alkylamine (ethomeen C/15)–alkylbenzenesulfonic acid–water and ethomeen C/15 ⋅ HCl–potassium bis(alkylpolyoxyethylene)phosphate–water systems. The optimum temperature and concentration parameters of extraction are determined. Principles of the distribution of certain metal ions in an ethomeen C/15 ⋅ HCl–oxyphos B–water system with complexing anions are examined. Conditions for quantitative recovery of copper(II) and zinc in the form of acid complexes are determined.
