Abstract
Ion exchange of YCl3 aqueous solutions with anion-exchanger AV-17-8 was used to synthesize yttrium hydroxide as a stable sol having average particle sizes of 3–15 nm and as a powder having specific surfaces of 50–160 m2/g.
