Abstract

The corrosion resistance of 15Kh13MF steel (1.5C-13Cr-Mo-V) irradiated by a GOS-1001 laser in the Q-switching mode is studied. An increase in the corrosion resistance of the steel as compared to the original specimen is shown using a gravitational method for corrosion and microhardness monitoring.
