Abstract

The title compounds were prepared by chemical vapour transport. They crystallize in the space group P3̅m 1 with the lattice parameters a = 7.532(3) (7.589(5)) and c = 36.54(2) (36.70(5))!. X-ray powder diffraction data are listed and the T,x phase diagram of the system AlInS3-In2S3 is shown.
