^****Hans Tømmervik has worked as a vegetation ecologist at The Norwegian Institute for Nature Research, Tromsø, Norway, since 1998. He has been working with remote-sensing based reindeer pasture inventory programs and other monitoring programs of vegetation in Norway since 1983. He has been partly responsible for the fieldwork of this project and for the mountain inventory. He formerly worked as a remote sensing scientist at NORUT Information Technology in Tromsö, Norway, and as a Land Use Consultant for The Sami Reindeer Herders' Association of Norway.
