본 연구는 SNS 활용 요소를 개발하고, IPA 방법을 활용하여 SNS의 교육적 활용 요소에 대한 우선순위를 규명하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이 연구의 목적을 실현하기 위해 전문가를 대상으로 명목그룹기법(Normal Group Technique: NGT)을 통해 SNS의 활용 요소를 개발하고, 이를 토대로 교수자 및 관련 전문가 62명을 대상으로 교육적 활용에 대한 인식 설문을 실시하였다. 62명의 자료는 SPSS 12.0 프로그램을 활용하여 분석되었다. SNS의 교육적 중요도와 만족도에 대한인식 차이를 분석하기 위해 대응표본 t-검정(paired t-test)을 실시하였으며, SNS의 교육적 활용요소에 대한 우선순위를 탐색하기 위해 중요도-실행도 분석(Importance-Performance Analysis: IPA) 을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, SNS의 활용 요소는 관계도모, 정보유통, 협업, 피드백의 4개의 영역과 총 16개의 요소로 개발되었다. 또한 SNS 활용에 대한 중요도와 실행도에는 영역 및 세부내용에 따라 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. IPA를 통해 SNS 교육적 활용에 대한 우선순위를 분석한 결과 정보유통, 협업, 피드백 영역이 유지 영역으로 나타나 SNS 교육적 활용에 대한 지속적 발전이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 아울러 SNS 활용 세부내용에 대해서는 대부분의 내용이 유지 영역으로 나타났으나, 세부내용 중 제작, 기회부여는 실행도보다 중요도가 높게 나와 향후 SNS 활용에 있어서 집중해야 하는 영역으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 SNS의 활용 요소를 도출하고, SNS 활용 요소에 대한 교육적 활용에 대한 교수자들의 인식 현황 및 우선순위를 실증적으로 도출하였다는 의의가 있다.
The purpose of the study was to understand experts’ perceptions on usage elements of SNSs and identify the priority of the elements for educational use of SNSs. In order to investigate the research objects, a Normal Group Technique was done producing the usage categories of SNSs. A survey was consecutively done to 62 instructors and experts working in eLearning areas to investigate the priority of the categories and their elements. Paired T-tests and Importance-Performance Analysis using SPSS 12.0 package were conducted to find the differences between importance and satisfaction of the categories and the order of priority. In results, it was developed that the portraits of SNSs were divided with four categories and 16 elements. Specifically, information distribution, collaboration, and feedback areas were found to be on the high importance and performance quadrant, which implicated that the elements should continuously be developed. meanwhile, some of the elements such as production and rating categories were found to be undervalued assets alerting opportunity. In sum, this study was meaningful in finding usage categories and elements of SNSs and investigating Importance- Performance differences for the educational use of SNSs.
