New business model? – The challenges of sharing economy in Hungary

A kutatási témám az elmúlt években egyre nagyobb teret hódító és napjainkban egyre nagyobb sajtóvisszhangot generáló üzleti modell, az úgynevezett „sharing economy”, vagyis a közösségi gazdaság vizsgálata volt. Célként tűztem ki a szakirodalom szintetizálását, valamint a közösségi gazdaság nemzetközi gyakorlatának áttekintése után a magyarországi közösségi gazdaság térképének elkészítését, és ezek szereplőinek vizsgálatát. A primer kutatásom Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén megyei közösségi gazdaságra irányult. Ezen belül a keresleti oldalra fókuszáltam, feltárva a szereplők összetételét, motivációit és igényeit. Ennek érdekében reprezentatív kérdőíves felmérést végeztem és a megállapításaimat leíró és következtetési statisztikai elemzésekre alapoztam. Jelen tanulmány során a dolgozatban szereplő eredményeknek csak egy kisebb szeletét mutatom be, amelyben egy becslést készítettem a megyére vonatkozóan.

My research focused on sharing economy which had been gained more and more ground in recent years and receiving increased media coverage nowadays. My aim was to synthesize the literature and after review of international practice of sharing economy, preparation of Hungarian map of sharing economy, as well examining of their participants. The primary goal of my survey to research of sharing economy in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County. In particular, I would like to concentrate on the demand side, revealing the composition of participators, motivations and needs. For this purpose, I made representative survey and built my observations based on descriptive and inductive statistical analysis. In this paper, I will show a small part of results of my research, I would like to present an estimation for the size of sharing economy in the county.
