THE FORMATION AND ROLE OF TECHNOLOGY PLATFORMS IN INNOVATION OF COMMERCIAL BANKS

Abstract.  The relevance of the problem in the innovation activities of commercial banks due to the emergence of new financial technologies and the creation of prerequisites for their active implementation in the modern Russian market. Technological platforms for innovation are driven by the growing demand for banking products, the blurring of the boundaries of financial intermediation, the demand for comprehensive services, and the need for many Russian commercial banks to maintain their competitive position in the increasingly competitive banking and financial markets. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the need for the formation of an effective technological platform in the innovation activities of banks and to determine its targets. During the research General scientific methods of cognition, such as analysis, synthesis, induction and generalization are applied. Possible channels of influence on Bank customers were identified, the need for and the role of the formation of an effective technological platform in a commercial Bank in order to expand and improve the quality of banking services was revealed, the targets for the formation of an effective technological platform were revealed, the classification of innovative technologies for the provision of banking products and services was The article summarizes the experience of Russian and foreign banks in the use of modern technology platform and formulates the conditions necessary for the successful solution of this problem. The results obtained in the course of the study can be used in the formation of a competitive strategy of banks in the implementation of their innovation activities.
