The influence of a magnetic field on the vibration frequency spectra of rectangular plates

Abstract

The influence of a magnetic field on the vibration frequency spectra of rectangular plates is analyzed. Asymptotic estimations are presented for the vibration frequency densities of rectangular plates in transverse and longitudinal magnetic fields. The effects of suppressing elastic plate vibrations with an external magnetic field are established.
